Wizkids spectacular performance filled the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium accommodating 800,000 people during a MLE concert. In recognition of his achievement he was awarded a plaque.


Again, Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim has showcased his status as the pioneer of Afrobeat by selling out the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a capacity of, over 800k.


On an evening of August 29th Wizkid captivated the crowd with his timeless songs as fans passionately chanted his name and sang along. His performance left a mark on their hearts.


During this event Wizkid paid homage to the King of Pop Michael Jackson by unveiling his own unique 'Thriller' trademark fashion. Additionally he was honored with the BRIT Billion Award—an achievement for an African musician.


Having announced his London Stadium concert on January 23rd tickets quickly sold at a pace due to fans eagerness to witness another spectacular performance, from this Afrobeat maestro.


Although it may not have sold out rapidly as some had anticipated initially within six months all available tickets were snatched up. This allowed Wizkid ample time to prepare for what promises to be a night.


The stadium concert is part of Wizkids sixth studio album titled 'More Love Less Ego,' which he aptly describes as the finale of his chart topping album world tour.


After filling up a stadium, with over 800k fans the talented Grammy Award winning singer made his way to London a week before the anticipated concert. He was accompanied by his team. Even had some family members join him including Jada P and their new baby as well as Zion and his first Baby Mama, Shola Ogudu. It was a moment for Wizkid to have his loved ones witness him shut down the stadium with his performance.

The excitement of the show filled him with energy, which he brought backstage to spice things up before the main event.

During this week Wizkid took some time to visit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the time in his career. It was a moment that added to his reputation as not a music icon but also someone who could showcase impressive football skills that rivaled even some professionals.

One day before the scheduled concert on July 29th Wizkid treated fans to a bonus rehearsal live performance titled "Wizkid. 9 5 (Jam Session)." The collaboration with The Cavemen exceeded expectations. Has been gaining a number of streams and views, on various streaming platforms.


On July 29th an upgraded version of the Afrobeat concert took place featuring a performance, by Wizkid and his talented Afrobeat musicians. The concert kicked off with captivating sets by artists like Wande Coal, Masego and Skyla Tyla. It was followed by performances from rising talents such as Seyi Vibez, LAX, Darkoo, P.Prime Ms. Banks, Rahman Jago, Bankuli and Rexxie. The energy soared as the biggest star of the night took the stage and mesmerized the crowd with his hit songs.

The concert drew thousands of fans from around the world. Wizkids remarkable achievement didn't go unnoticed; he was honored with a plaque by the BRIT Billion Award Authority, for surpassing 1 billion UK streams. This groundbreaking milestone makes him the first Nigerian music star to accomplish such a feat.
