Mark Margolis, aged 83 passed away on Thursday at Mt Sinai Hospital, in New York City.
According to his son Morgan Margolis, the CEO of Knitting Factory Entertainment the actor had been dealing with an illness.
During his moments Mark was surrounded by his wife Jacqueline and their son Morgan.
Throughout his career spanning decades since the 1970s Mark Margolis had a repertoire of roles in film, television and stage productions. He is best known for his performance as Alberto 'The Shadow' in Scarface. Additionally he portrayed the character Hector 'Tio' Salamanca, in the TV series Breaking Bad and its spin off Better Call Saul.
