The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced the appointment of Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, the Governor of Kano state, as the National Chairman of the party. This decision was made during the meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) held in Abuja on Thursday. Additionally Senator Basiru Ajibola has been appointed as the National Secretary.
In a development it was reported that Ahmed El Marzuk, who served as APCs National Legal Adviser has resigned from his position in the partys National Working Committee (NWC). El Marzuk decided to step down on Wednesday following concerns raised by some colleagues regarding allegations, against him.
